• How can Calton and our trees best benefit one another?

treesTree Charter Survey from the NALC – open until Tuesday 28 February 2017.

    Dear community councillors,

This year more than 50 organisations across the UK have partnered to launch a new Charter for Trees, Woods and People on November 6th 2017. The new Tree Charter (https://treecharter.uk/) will set out a series of guidelines and principles on how our local communities and trees can best benefit one another. It will serve as a resource, which community councils can use in support of their efforts to look after the trees in their area and ensure their community feel the many benefits that trees can bring.

For your chance to win an Apple iPad Mini complete the short survey (Please note this survey is strictly for community councillors. Multiple individuals from the same community council may complete this survey. By doing this you will be helping us find out how the new Tree Charter can best serve your community council.
